Testing Transparency
A Certificate of Analysis verifies the identity and content of a particular compound, confirming the presence of the correct compound and that the labeled amount per unit is accurate.
Purity is most appropriate for neat peptide raw materials such as isolated or lyophilized powders. For finished products like capsules or liquid sprays, a purity result can be misleading because it no longer represents the peptide alone in a simple system.
